We’re excited to share some great news to kick off the New Year — Hannegan Road is now fully repaved and open in both directions, and smooth driving has officially returned to the area around our shop.
After recent heavy rain caused a culvert failure and roadway collapse near Van Wyck Road, City of Bellingham crews and contractors worked quickly and safely to stabilize the roadway and complete repairs. Planning is already underway for a full culvert replacement in the future, but for now, traffic is flowing again and access to local businesses has been fully restored.
We are incredibly grateful for the hard work of the repair teams and the patience shown by our customers and neighbors during the closure.
